This is such a fun thing. Easy to miss on the Saffron Walden common. Lovely to compete with friends, children and family to see who gets to the middle first.

Another maze. This one is set in the grass - it has a small brick pathway set into the grass for the youngsters to follow round! And you can't even lose them! Great idea, take a picnic and enjoy!

A fun activity when visiting Saffron Walden common. The children's park is nearby too. Make sure you read the plaque at the start of the maze to discover its amazing history. A good way to tire out the kids while you watch!

Firstly we couldn't find the maze and then when we did we nearly walked past it. Being at ground level it is not easily identified from a distance. Interesting history.
