A creative and interesting garden with lots of different areas. A fun staircase to view the garden from a different level. The box hedges were in amazing condition. The maze a lot of fun. A lovely asset for Saffron Walden.

Beautiful tranquil gardens on north side of town. Recently restored kitchen garden and small information centre as well as picturesque gardens and a maze to get well and truly lost in. I'm a regular visitor with my kids.

Bridge End Garden is tucked away with the entrance on Castle Street easily passed. It's well worth a visit as this really is a little gem of a place which is both interesting and beautifully kept. Free entry a bonus. Super for having a picnic...More

My grandson had great fun taking me around the maze. The gardens are beautifully kept and there are some wonderful cedar trees. Some formal bits but also a big space to run around.

leaving the main road you walk down a narrow lane and suddenly come across this magic garden, so beautifully designed and planted.

Tucked away, these gardens are an absolute delight to spend and hour or so wandering through. There is also a maze to provide fun for all ages to navigate.

A real gem, right in the centre of town. Has an amazing maze which children love. Good clean toilets. Lovely walled garden.

We'd just had a leisurely lunch in The Eight Bells and one of the staff recommended we take a wander through the garden. The sun was shining , it was beautiful and peaceful

A credit to the council and especially the volunteers who tend the gardens. Very well maintained and a pleasure to wander through. Didn´t have time to go in the maze but would have loved to have had the time. It is refreshing to get entry...More

I expected a smallish garden, but this is incredibly well done. Complete with a maze, this garden was a delightful surprise. It also helps that there are several pubs walking distance nearby!

Yes, a lot of people walk their dogs in the gardens and in the park next door. ISTR there are some taps for watering the gardens from which you could get water for dogs too.
