We came here because we had time to kill between the Dali museum and our train back. Definitely wouldn't recommend goming here especially. It's not that the museum isn't nice - it certainly is, and I enjoyed it, but it's so small! I expected so much more but we were through in anout half an hour. Also the signs with... More

Mudeu del Joguet de Catalunya (or Toy Museum of Catalonia in English) is the second large museum of the toy in the region (the first one is in Barcelona), but it is not ery big. This was a nice stop to have with our family after the Dali Museum. The train room captured my daughters' attention for some time. The toy collection spans at least a century and has a pretty diverse set of exhibits. Not a huge museum, but a nice way to reward the kids for partaking in culture.

So, went here on the recommendation of a friend and it was a mind-blowing experience. The breadth and scope of the toys in the museum and they way there were presented was a joy. The best thing about going to a place like this - is remembering your childhood.

This museum is definately a recall of everyone`s childhood/happiness. I really enjoyed watching all those various games/toys and played with some of them) I think a good pecularity of this place is an atmosphere of joy. They also have a railway (not as big as some in Germany, but still). Recommend this place to get distracted from daily worries)

From Bobo the magician, to Meccano, Mickey Mouse, Rubix Cube and an 1890 Nina Steiner doll - the Toy Museum brings to life generations of Toys from across the globe. As you stroll through the museum classical music plays in the background, enhancing the nostalgia. A subtle smile appears, as you identify with each toy from your childhood, or when... More

I really enjoyed this. I went on a Thursday afternoon and there were only 4 others inside. The cost was 6 Euros. It is all on one level and it took less than 30 minutes to get through it. There were old cars, dolls, magic sets, trains and all sorts of toys on display. Some even had black and white... More

After going to the Dali museum we had some time to kill before our train so decided to go to the toy museum (the Emporda museumwas shut and you get a 50% discount with your Dali museum ticket). It was ok but I wouldn't go back, it was nice to walk around but most of the information was in Catalan... More
