Beautiful beach with hippy type undertones. Fantastic for surfers and beach lovers. Worth the trip out from Tariffa. Visit the roman ruins of bolonia at the same time. Does get busy so go early.

Stunning beach. We chose a particularly bad day to go weather wise, which I was a bit disappointed by as it's such a stunning beach and we didn't have enough time left on the trip to go back. But it really is stunning!

Bolonia beach is one of the best in Spain. Golden sands, safe bathing waters, but everyone says it can get very busy in high season. It was notably less busy as soon as August turned into September. The area nearest the cafes and tourist places...More

Shhhhh! It's already too full of people. Well! It's a most marvelous "playa": no big town and buildings in front, no club and cars... just a few houses: sea food restaurants, A very nice museum, near the roman city of Baelo. Large view... You have...More

Absolutely beautiful but so windy the sand kept slapping us down! I imagine it must be spectacular or a glorious day, that day was not today.

Beautiful, long beach, very clean and with clear water. It can get very crowded in the proximity of the car parks, but if you don't mind walking 10-15( on both directions) there will be plenty of space around you. If you like snorkeling, the rocks...More

Beach in the far end of Tarifas beaches. Many cars here and parking can be tricky. Beach side is nice with public showers and sandy beaches. Sand dune of Bolonia at walking distance by the beach side. Terraces available for drinks and quick snacks.

I used to windsurf there many years ago, It's almost always windy, with strong currents. I wouldn't recommend snorkeling, Maybe bringing a good beach tent with stakes would be better, This is a wild coast, known for... More
