I have enjoyed this prohibited walk many times over the years and it needs much care if you are going to try it now . The lack of funds / willpower to repair and make safe this walk is a real shame. It is officially prohibited but with much care it can be passed. It would be worth the effort... More

We have been to Nerja a number of times & it is a pity the walk under the cliffs is now in a bad way. Hopefully the can repair it & get it up & running.

due to a chance of falling rocks the path is closed but a nice walk is still possible on the sand and gravel of the small beaches starting at playa papagayo east of balcon de europa towards the smaller eastern beaches and coves.

This used to be a smashing walk from Burriana Beach through to Papagayo Beach and the Balcon de Europa, but erosion of the cliff face forced closure some years ago. As far as I know, it is still closed, but I would be delighted if I am wrong.

This is the most beautiful walk - go find it and enjoy the lovely views, buildings and restaurants. Very quaint, very traditional, beautiful flowers and climbers to see
