Having passed the castle on many occasions we finally decided to attempt the climb up the hill. Glad we did. The hill itself was not nearly as bad as it looked, although we did stop a couple of times to admire the view! . It...More

We have been to the Castle of Sohall, it is great for views as it sits on a hill and you can get views from all over the Castle and worth a visit.

Well worth the small climb to get lovely views, especially at night. Nice to get a bit of historic Spain despite all of the modern, sprawling buildings in Fuengirola

The castle was shut with I visited (it was New Year’s Eve afternoon) which was a bit disappointing. However I still found the walk around the castle and surrounding area to be very pleasant and still had some nice views.

You definitely wouldn’t need a taxi, from the castle grounds there is a foot path to the entrance, ten mins tops! Both great venues!

I went during the day. But the sun sets behind the mountains behind Sohail castle. and that's worth watching.
