Incredible place ! We started at the tourist centre and did the whole walk 10km to the Laguna de Valdeazores. (They say it's 12km but my watch showed exactly 10km). There is 7km to the Central Hydroelectric and then 4km to the Laguna. So somewhere...More

This very attractive river with clear water and rock pools for swimming is set amongst beautiful countryside an hour's drive from Cazorla. The easy walk alongside the river can be extended further by taking the walk along the bridge and pasarela (a raised wooden footpath...More

We didn't start out as early as we wanted as we underestimated how long it would take to drive from Burunchel, where we stayed, through the park to the start of the walk. We started walking at 9am and were in shade and a cool...More

We hiked 20KM from the start to the lagoon at the top and back down, views all the way along the route are spectacular and there are plenty of places en route to stop and enjoy a swim or paddle in the river, we had...More

Simply breathtaking one of the most peaceful walks we have ever had the pleasure to try. Wonderfully quiet as low season, just the birds and rushing water for company. Do take into account the time it will take to get back as this isn't a...More

Starting at the fish farm and then all along the Rio Borosa. Pretty easy to begin with and then progressively more difficult the further along the river you get till you pass the HEP station and then you have rocks falls to clamber over but...More

Superb weather on December 24 for this hike ! And of course very quiet. The hiking is somewhat similar and as good as in Aragon in the Pyrenees. There is a sign 'end of trail' after 8 km but that's where it really becomes great...More

Yes, I think so. It depends how big your camper is but there was plenty of parking in early September although obviously it might be more difficult in high season.

In winter, better to stay in Cazorla where there are several hotels in the town center. In summer, there is accomodation very near the hike in the national park.
