This was a interesting place and there is a fee rigidly enforced by the nuns so do not slip in here without paying which could happen as the payment place is in a side room. Worth a visit even for the fee to see the...More

A place for contemplation . We arrived about half an hour before the convent closed in the evening . We entered and were looking into the church when a nun approached us to buy entrance tickets and told us to visit the church and cloisters...More

The convent is a special place, full of calm and intimacy. A jewel of Baroque architecture which you will enjoy especially if it is a hot day. You can buy the sweets made by the nuns in artesanal way. A heavenly taste!!

The convent was surprisingly nice to visit. A lot more to it than one would expect. A variety of artifacts throughout the church and a lovely courtyard entry. It is a peaceful place to sit for a few moments and reflect on life.

The convent is beautiful with many religious artefacts. This is more than an attraction. Go and see if you are in search of calm peacefulness and support the work of these lovely women - buy some cakes

We arrived at the convent to buy "English cake", a speciality of the good sisters who bake it here. We spoke with two of the sisters, originally from Kenya, who have made Carmona their home. The convent is beautiful with many religious artefacts to see...More

At the quiet end of the historic centre of Carmona, Santa Clara was apparently the first of many convents to be founded in the town, of which four still remain. It is not the grandest but it does have a real sense of history, with...More

A small church inside the convent, a bit like a big chapel. Well worth a visit. Look at the pictures on the walls and the altar is something to behold. It is a convent and therefore not always open.
