Yes it's a big arch but the GIGANTIC STATUES which led to its name are no longer present. Little if any embellishment. Not worth a trip on its own account but of course you have the Alcazaba, Thermos, Church & incredible vistas.

This gateway to the Alcazar is worth the walk up the steps. The impressive gateway with its huge arch presents a stunning view. Turn around and then see the city laid down before you. This is an excellent spot to sit, watch and be. Delightful
