We nearly didn't take the turning into the park. In fact we passed it and turned back. I'm so glad we did. The rockscapes are awesome! The views across the valleys outside the park from on high are stupendous!

The surroundings are stunning, they reminded us a little of the national parks in Western USA. If you are on a roadtrip in the region, do not miss out on a hike here! The "yellow" roundtrip takes about 1.5 - 2 hours and is not difficult at all! The landscape is really beautiful and a visit will be well worth... More

This is iconic karst limestone with amazing rock formations. Bring binoculars to see raptors and look down to see interesting lime loving flora in the clints. Well worth allowing time for the longer walk but wear good walking shoes and a bottle of water.

This is well worth the half hour drive from the center of town. Take time to stroll on any of the well marked walks.

The rock formations of El Torcal are really amazing and are well worth a visit. They may not be unique but I have not seen anything like them. El Torcal is easy to get to by car and the views are spectacular. The only problem is that the centre store is a bit run down and needs a bit of... More

We visited on a very sunny day and decided to walk the 45 mins tour. The walk was not as we expected and we had to clamber over rocks and find the route but this made it very interesting. It actually took 1 hour and the views on the way were spectacular. At the end is a gift shop and... More

El Torcal is a magnificant area of rock formations & I only wish that it hadn't been shrouded in mist when we visited, and by mistake we also went on a bank holiday so the hoards had descended. Definitely a place to revisit on a clear day to catch the views and maybe see some of the resident wildlife like... More

This park is an easy 20 minute drive out of Antequera, it is well signposted. Great place to walk around, you could spend an hour or many hours here. There is a visitor centre with cafe and toilets.

My three kids (aged 10.12.14) ranked this trip as one of the best things if the holiday. My kids are not used to walking but do love to do their own thing and find their own way in nature. They loved free climbing over the boulders. You can park your car free at the bottom of the park and take... More

We visited this park a Monday where many other sigths are closed. You can book a guided tour at 10.30 or 12.30 on-line or you can just show up. Price was very affordable and the young guide provided us with many interesting details (in English). The guided tour was quiete easy even after a very rainy night, But this day... More
