We drove up here to have a look and were unprepared for the views and the amazing rock formations. We happened upon a walking trail so without having seen a map we didn't know where we were going. Turns out we were doing the walk...More

The scenery here comprises spectacular karsted limestone; a kind of limestone answer to Bryce Canyon in Utah. The rock formations make up all sorts of fantastic shapes. In spring, the wildflowers are amazing. There are two coloured walking routes which are clearly marked but which...More

One of the most unique and jaw-dropping locations I've ever seen. It reminded me of a sci-fi movie (or Frodo and Sam's approach to Mordor). The drive up to El Torcal was a little windy and precarious but 100% worth it. To add to the...More

The rocks in the park are really unusual and very interesting. The flora along the paths are very attractive and different too. There are three walks of different lengths and time. Some parts can be difficult and slippery. Go there with proper hiking shoes. You...More

Took a wrong road to Malaga so had to wind our way back through the hills which was an experience. A nice one. El Torcal is an amazing place. Well worth a visit.

This reserve is with free entrance and you can arrive whenever you want. Only if you need some more information you must arrive before the office is closed. Otherwise I recommend to be late and after the office is closed so it is a quiet...More

We spent a fantastic morning in El Torcal. Despite of being August, the day was not that nice, so we decided to make the short route (also our shoes were not optimal for this place). It took us around 90 minutes to complete this track...More

You will not be able to get a wheelchair around the paths. Only to the restaurant/shop an maybe to the viewpoint which is about 100m from the car park

I stay in Alora. How do I get to Antequera? I think the only solution is taking an expensive taxi. And then , how do I get from the El Torcal park to the Dolmen? And later I have to take the train in Santa Ana Antequera, how far is that from the park or Dolmen? And is there a bus or is it possible by foot? I'm searching on the internet for days now, and can't find answers to these questions. Can you help me? or give me an idea? THX
