Unfortunately the castle was closed so we were only able to do an outside tour. The setting is beautiful and the castle itself although not the oldest is impressive. There are cafes and a bar to grab food or drink. Worth a visit.

A truly beautiful castle which was more like a palace with such grand architecture, opulent rooms, artefacts and ornate gardens full of stone statues. I'm not one for doing tours however I would recommend taking a tour on around the interior and the exterior you can wander around yourself.

The castle is closed during November for cleaning and maintenance. So, unfortunately, we didn't get to go inside. The grounds and the outside of the castle are incredible. Amazing architecture surrounded by well kept gardens. Worth the visit - even if you can't get inside!

It s an awseome experience. I really recommend to take the full guide. You also need to pay a tax for inside photos but it s well worth it.

Walking along the small path through the forest, enjoying the fresh atmosphere. There're several souvenir shops along the path but the price is high a bit. The castle is mixing of old architecture with many Europe decoration detail, interiors. Don't take the camera when you get inside the castle because taking picture would dismiss the introduction from tour guide or... More

Non conventional castle, beautiful architecture and interiors have been influenced by a lot of different styles.

The view is simply stunning. We couldn't visit the castle cause it was closed but it's worth taking a walk around it. The hills and mountains, amazing sceneries around you ... what a day! The castle looks beautiful when it's snowing.

This beautiful and imaginately decorated and furnished castle built by King Carrol of Romania is a must see destination. Be sure to buy entry to the upper floor too so you don't miss any of the magic!

The place was jam packed! We arrived at around 11am, and already there were hundreds of people. Literally hundreds. Al waiting to buy tickets from the one single ticket office. Then after that ordeal (we waited for at least 45 minutes) there was yet another queue for the English speaking tours - you can't go in unless escorted by a... More
