You have to visit here,very interesting and humbling, to see and hear how they worked in the mines a very eye opening experience, Gerry the guide worked there himself and gave a very accurate tour. Well worth a visit.

Good Afternoon it is possible to do a section of the miners way but there is quite a lot of hill walking on this walk. Walking boots would be required as it can be quite wet at times. regards Margaret

It is well worth the trip my4boys head from Carrick on Shannon its well signposted and not far enjoy :)
