I rode the train frequently when I was a youngster, often for 18 hour trips of hundreds of miles. I loved it and, as a result, I often take the tourist trains where ever we can find them. The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas is...More

The highlight of this attraction is the operating turntable near the station that is used regularly. Beyond that there is some interesting rolling stock and gear sitting around for pictures (like an old circus car). Because of time we did not take the simple ride...More

We were traveling with our dogs and wanted something that we could take them on. We went on the excursion with both dogs and they loved it. Everyone was very helpful the talk was enjoyable.

Our children are fascinated by trains. Especially after seeing so many trains in cartoons and movies. This is one of the few places left to bring the whole family where everyone can enjoy them together. Great memories.

We got some fun pictures here and kids can have fun. Not too bad for a little fun, although there are more engaging activities in Eureka Springs.

Nice scenery. The food was average. I don't think the food is worth the price. You stop in the middle of a field to eat. The field is pretty but you sitting instead of riding.

Don't expect to see any beautiful mountain scenery on this trip. Just trees, bushes, shrubs and a few creeks. However, that being said, the food on the lunch trip was good. We all tried something different and it was all pretty good. The dessert, Eureka...More

It seemed a bit pricey, but lunch was only about $10 more than the price to ride the train. Dining car was nice, good food, good service, and A/C.

This was not the warm, friendly tourist attraction I remember from 15 years ago. You will not receive warm fuzzys from the staff here. It felt more like I was imposition to them. The friendliest people on the train were the other guest. I think...More

A little too long waiting for the diners to be fed and seed for while those in the excursion rate car sit in the heat waiting for the go sign. Conductor was great. The coin smash was fun. Just too long of waits as excursioners....More

The train operates April thru October. Since the winter months are not that active in this area, a lot of attractions close by the first of November.
