Weekend visit

My husband and I decided to stop in and have a look around. The film was informative/interesting and the walk was very scenic.

This is really more like an arboretum or botanical garden than an educational heritage center. And even as a botanical garden it was pretty boring and unimpressive. There is just almost no information about the spring itself. The videos that you watch before walking down to the spring and informational plaques that you find sparsely along the trail primarily focus... More

We will certainly take your comments to heart and see what we can do to improve on the educational side of the Spring and it's historical significance. Thank you for your input. More

Blue spring is only a beautiful 15 min drive north of Eureka Springs. We enjoyed the short films and seeing the array of artifacts that were found in the spring and the area. The walk down to the spring was beautiful. Can't say much for the beauty of the gardens because we were there the middle of Sept so the... More

Ok so it was hot but we decided to do this tour anyway. When we arrived in the parking lot our brakes started screaming. I went inside to ask if there was a shop that was close to get it looked at. The man who ran the place said his sons were former military mechanics so we took the car... More

In Eureka Springs you can explore the city and the various springs for free. While Blue Spring is much more beautiful and amazing, I was surprised to have to pay almost $10 per person to walk around the spring and the tributary it empties into. I understand there is upkeep involved, I just thought that seemed a little steep for... More

We are glad you came and agree that the beauty of this historical place is amazing. It is a true wonder of nature. We are a privately owned and operated park that receives no financial assistance from State or Federal entities. In order to keep the park open to guests and host weddings, we have to charge an admission fee.... More

Three friends and I were in Eureka Springs and decided to try to find some of the springs the area is famous for. Blue Spring is a little farther from town than the others, but well worth the drive. It has a very interesting history, (watch the video and imagine that underwater dive!!!) and at some times of the year... More

I was fortunate to visit when it was after a rain, and not very crowded. I could stroll peacefully thru the park and stop to smell the flowers and observe the abundant flora and fauna. Very relaxing experience. The history of the spring and surrounding caves was captivating, and they have a very pleasant gift shop and friendly staff.

This was quite a way out of Eureka Springs, beyond Beaver Lake, but we'll worth the drive. Go early before it gets too hot. Watch the two brief movies then venture out self guided to see the spring and gardens. Very beautiful and peaceful.

On a Labor Day weekend vacation on motorcycles with friends, we are always trying to find places to visit. My husband found Blue Spring and we added it to our list of places to go. When we first got off the main road, I was a bit leery about where we were going, but when we reached the Heritage Center,... More
