On the road to or from Eureka Springs you'll need a place to stop and get a breath of fresh air and stretch your legs. Lake Leathewood is the on-the-way place to do just that. I enjoyed a morning lakeside contemplation as the sun climbed...More

Visited in late July. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were here, however we did manage to rent a few kayaks and get on the water. Surprisingly, the water was exceptionally warm though we fought the current the entire way to the dam....More

This is a beautiful little lake just minutes from Eureka Springs. We rented kayaks & stand up paddleboards from Float Eureka & it is less than 10 minutes to Lake Leatherwood from there. It is a quiet, beautiful lake with no motor boats allowed, perfect...More

We went hiking on the fishermans trail. It was a good trail to hike with first time hikers. The lake is mossy but nice

Take the three mile hike around the lake! It's wonderful! Crystal clear water to fish in: you can fish your way around the lake. Well maintained trails. Cabins for rent. Showers in the rest rooms. Great place; can't wait to go back!

My husband, myself and two grandsons (teenagers) rented Cabin #3 for a week. Although the temps outside were 100 degrees, the newly refinished cabin also has new AC!!! Small kitchette meant we didn't have cook outside or eat out every meal. We rented a paddle...More

The small cabins, closer to the lake had AC. Our kids swim on the lake close to the shore
