I really enjoyed my visit to the turpentine Creek wildlife refuge. The tour was very informative and we really enjoyed our guide. She was very knowledgeable. It was sad however to hear about all of the harm that people have done to these magnificent animals. I'm glad places like this exist to save these noble creatures. The refuge did a... More

We had a tour guide that walked us through the refuge while she shared the stories of how they acquired these beautiful animals and she told us about the animals... We are hoping to sponsor a tiger.

The facility has big cats and a few bears. It was saddening to hear the stories of where some of the cats came from. There is a self-guided quick tour or you can take a guided 45 minute guided walking tour. Wear comfy shoes, the tour is on gravel and up and down a few hills. Well worth the money.... More

This is a rescue preserve for big cats. Many acres of very nice enclosures and tons of tigers lions ligers cougars and even bears and a monkey! We stayed at one of the cabins which was amazing - two tigers right outside our window. We could hear the lions caroling to each other the entire time we were there and... More

I love big cats, I was about 4 feet from a tiger, bear, serval cat, bobcat, monkey, lion and a panther. I got some AWESOME pictures. Probably the best rescue I have ever seem. All of the animals have grassy enclosures. Definitely have to do the walking tour, it was the best tour of a rescue I have ever seen.

This is mainly a big cat rescue though there are a few bears and other animals. All of these animals have been rescued from a bad situations and are being very well cared for in a habitat that is as comfortable and natural as they can possibly create. It is well worth the $20 ticket price not only because it's... More

I liked the refuge but I got tired of seeing the same animals over and over again. The refuge should save more animals than lions, tigers, and bears.

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip here while we were visiting Eureka springs. Knowing I love big cats, he figured this would be right up my alley and he was so right. We both had a great time learning about all of their rescue efforts, the animals they house, and the organization itself. We went on a walking tour... More
