The statue was so tall you need to lean way back to see. The view was the best part. You can see the moutains and it is like being in another world. Wish we could have done the museum but we went later in evening.

This has to be the most overrated place on earth. Ok. Nice big statue is really not that nice. Looks better at a distance. But this is the biggest tourist trap I have ever seen in all my travels! And I've traveled the world. They...More

If you are going to Christ of the Ozarks and the Passion Play the same day/evening, just know you can drive down to the statue in your vehicle vs. walking down the hill. It is really beautiful at night and take your flashlight in the...More

What a beautiful place It's so peaceful there, and the Christ statue is big. The whole place is wonderful with some history to it.

This play was beautiful! One for the books! One I could definitely go watch again. We’ve heard great things about it but to actually witness it ourselves was amazing

We chose to park and walk around the complex. I had seen the play several years ago so this was not on the to-do list this time. We walked to the Berlin Wall exhibit (you can drive though), church and statue. Took photos and moved...More

Great for all ages. Don't miss it. They renovated the statue a couple of years ago. The views are amazing.

The statue of Christ is definitely worth seeing (no charge) and just a short walk from the parking lot. Be sure to see the Passion Play, but check their calendar as it is not performed every evening. The play was informative, closely following the Biblical...More

We've been here many, many times over the past 30+ years. The statue is awe-inspiring, location is beautiful. We've brought lots of friends and family here with us.

No. Just drive past the entrance to the play and the gift shop. Park and walk up to the statue.

There is no charge. I'd visit their website for times, but I thought it didn't close. Since you're a large group, if you want to get parking fairly close, you can keep going up the drive past the buildings. There's a... More
