I really enjoyed myself in this cave. The cave is still growing so you can't touch it. It is a self-guided tour, and you have to use the headphones provided to guide yourself through the tour. Unfortunately, everyone won't follow the instructions given by the...More

The cave was $8 per person and my husband and I went. They give you a headset and directions and send you on your way. The cave is beautiful and a short trip but the headsets were so hard to understand. I wish they told...More

This self guided tour seemed a little awkward at first but if you stay in the range of the headsets it's fine. The nice thing is, when you turn around to go back, you can listen to the tour again to see what you may...More

This is a self guided tour where you are given headphones and you walk to each exhibit and listen to the contaminator at the push of a button. It is easily traveled, well worth the stop when in the area. A good stop after visiting...More

It's kind of your typical cave, not as big as some. Be prepared for lots of steep stairs. Self guided tour was cool, you wear headsets, but I still didn't understand what they were talking about, nor what I was looking at. It's cheap and...More

You are able to tour the cave by yourself, and you are provided with a headset. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with any questions you might have!

Caves are fascinating and this is no exception. Self-guided tour with headphones. My favorite structures were the "fireplace" and the "elephant". The recording that was broadcast to the headphones was made in the 1970s and sounds like it. The headphones cut in and out a...More

You wear headphones and listen to the history behind the cave. It was very amazing and beautiful. The gift shop is nice!

I enjoyed visiting the Onyx Cave, it is definitely worth the time and money. You are given headsets for this self guided tour which allows you to explore at your own pace. I really enjoyed the history and geological detail.
