In the middle of Borjomi Central Park, after you've tasted the sulphur water, walked past the cable car, children's amusement rides, swimming pool and cinema - you can take a selfie with Prometheus.

This statue is quite nice and can be found in the park a short walk from the entrance gates.
Don't think it is a "must see."

The statue itself is interesting, given the story of Prometheus around here, but the park itself is WEIRD.

It was a very cold day, snow and ice on the path, we carried a water bottle to collect the special Borjomi waters from a fountain, we followed the path along the river, to hear the sounds of the waterfall, and saw a large silvery statute, it was most impressive and very unique experience. We took lots of photographs and made a careful retreat along the path to the parks entrance, (about 15 mins)

Located inside the Borjomi National Park, the monument is a short walk from the entrance. It depicts the mythical figure standing on a stone slab wearing a golden lion-cloth. The figure is depicted holding a flaming golden globe in his hands - a reference to Prometheus stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humans.

The statue is placed in front of a stone slab with geometrical symbols and is next to a small natural waterfall which makes it more picturesque. The statue is located across a small stream and so is inaccessible on foot. The area across the stream in front of the statue has several benches for weary travelers to rest and there are several snack shops around it.

The statue makes for a great photo spot and is worth a short stop on your tour.

There is a beautiful waterfall right where the Monument of Promethus is. You enter the Borjomi National Park for 2 lari and walk about an hour to the sulfur pools but this is almost 10-15 minutes walk from the entrance, before the sulfur pools.

We got a private tour (with driver n petrol) with Mr. Adam who is very good 995596107608 (whatsapp). He is polite, safe driver, speaks excellent English (Georgian and Russian as well). The car was clean and comfortable. Borjomi is a 2 hour drive from Tbilisi.

Food available at Borjomi National Park but quite expensive compared to other places ofcourse.

Recommend you bring your own snack.

Located within Borjomi Mineral Park, this is a good point to aim for.

Impressive enough next to the waterfall as a photo-opportunity, once the 'posers' have cleared out of the way

It's a lovely park 6 kilometer long ends up with pools, full of activities for young children, games, crowded in summer almost empty in winter and beginning of spring

A nice monument located beside a waterfall in the Borjomi park. The sound of the water is calming. Benches available.
