Amazing museum that is the quality of the Smithson Museums, just smaller. I enjoyed seeing the amazing American artwork. It is a wonderful gift from Miss Walton to the World with art made by the American people. Unfortunatly, we ran out of time. we would...More

What a great museum! I love the Art Institute, National Gallery, d'Orsay, etc. but this museum was perfect because of its focus on American art, and the fact that it is one-story made it very doable and not overwhelming. The building was incredible as well....More

A glass-walled museum consisting of numerous buildings, most glass-walled, set in a forest on a mountain crisscrossed with streams: no doubt this place makes an impression on the visitor. The architect Moshe Safdie succeeded in exploiting the challenging-to-build-on site extremely cleverly, opening surprise views and...More

Beautiful 38-acre grounds with trails filled with art, a Frank Lloyd Wright house, stunning architecture in harmony with the beautiful nature around it, a fine dining restaurant, and a diverse and extensive art collection.

You do not have to purchase tickets in advance but it helps if there is a line. If I remember correctly, the price was 20 dollars and some change.

You do not need advance tickets. They are available daily. The indoor exhibit has already left, but his out door collection is still in place.
