We were there in April and not much was blooming so we did not get to see much color. However the garden is well laid out and would be worth a return trip for us when the flowers are in bloom. Did get to watch them setting up the miniature train and see it run. Enjoyed that. Is a very... More

Compton Garden is approximately 6 acres of lush beautiful trees with a short path circling it. I loved the large trees and bubbly brook running through it. The flowers and plants near the convention center and along the path were well done. While this place is beautiful, it's not a functional destination for any purpose other than maybe a party,... Stop by the event planning office to pick up the trail and tree maps to get the most out of the visit. Most trails are .5 miles and accessible. Plants are well identified. A lovely jewel in the middle of town that connects to Crystal Bridges trails. Free.

The flowers are gorgeous and there is a variety of plants. Lovely trail to walk and plenty of places to sit and listen to the birds. Really enjoyed my visit.

Took a wonderful morning tour of the garden with Betty who was really knowledgeable. Surprised to learn of so many Ozark natives that compose the beautifully cared for garden set above a spring. Our April visit was perfect for the dogwoods and other flowering shrubs and wildflowers. Be sure to visit on your way to visit Crystal Bridges. Plenty of... More

Compton Gardens is a beautiful natural garden with a walking/biking trail running through the grounds. Just a short distance from Bentonville Square and the town and all it has to offer. Compton Gardens is serene and lovely. Nice place to go for a walk. The trail leads to the Crystal Bridges museum if you care to walk a little further.

We were not there during a season when we could see the many varieties of flowers and trees that are labeled along the curving path. It is well laid out and connect to the larger trail system.
