When Sam Walton opened his 5&10 on the Bentonville town square in 1950, he had no idea he'd planted the seeds for what would become the global leader in retail, saving millions of people money so they could live better. Today, that humble little dime store is the location of The Walmart Museum. A family-friendly experience in 3 parts, the Museum features a world-class exhibit gallery, Walton's 5&10, and The Spark Cafe. Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.M. - 9:00 P.M. Friday - Saturday: 8:00a.M. - 10:00P.M. Sunday: 12:00 p.M. - 9:00 P.M.

What a hero! He did amazing things through Walmart. I loved learning about the business philosophies, aviation, marketing approaches, corporate citizenship and personal greeters. Really inspiring. This is a must do.

You enter this museum through a little 5 and Dime shop experience of some of the toys, etc. of yesteryear. Then you can meander through the museum. As I've gotten older, I like to read the signs that tell you so much about the details...More

If in Bentonville or North West Arkansas, the Walmart Museum is a fun and informative place to visit. I found it great for young and old. There is a soda fountain at the end of the museum and the square is quite picturesque.

It's impossible to be in Bentonville and not feel the presence of the Walmart company. The entrance to this free museum is set up to resemble a small 5¢ and 10¢ from the 1950's, but is not as charming or vintage-y as I had expected....More

Hi Nancy C! We do not offer any bus shuttles. However, Bentonville does offer plenty of free parking around the square. There are a few parking lots, versus street parking, where a camper would fit.
