Can't go to Winslow, AZ and not make a stop at this historic spot - at least anyone older than 60!! We were dining at La Posada, which we highly recommend, and this is just down the street from it.

We were in town at La Posada and stopped by because my wife had never heard the song. We stopped, got pictures, and moved along. Nice piece of Americana.

I have been thru Winslow dozens of times and decided this time to stop! Glad I did, people from all over the world were there taking pics! Loved hearing Eagles music being played outside and the gift shop was a gem.

From Upstate NY visiting Phoenix and met a relative in Flagstaff, who accompanied us another hour to Winslow JUST to stand on that corner in Winslow, AZ and was well worth the ride. Winslow is a poor town, but this is a bright spot. Well maintained and a tribute to the song written by Jackson Browne and performed by Glen... More

Yes the statue is there, the mural gives it additional glam along with a real red flatbed truck. Must see while in Winslow!

"What a great site to see" This is such a fun town. A bit of nostalgia for sure! Some of the shops were closed, being early morning. Still had a fun time. The store across the street is a great place to get route 66 and Winslow items. Very reasonable prices. Super nice guy. Worth the stop!

This is such a cool trip down memory lane! It's really a fun stop for all ages, but especially for those "baby boomers" who grew up with the music of The Eagles. The artists have captured the period perfectly!
