The museum explains very well the history and culture of the Navajo people and the importance of the code talkers. It was also good to read the treaties. Everything is well displayed and there is also an interesting modern art Navajo exhibition.

Very moving display honoring the Navajo Code Talkers. It gives you a great look into the code talkers and the importance they played during the war. Other Navajo exhibits including art, historical pieces and a beautiful gift shop add to the tour.

The museum has changing displays. The one we saw this visit was by native artists, and showed both contemporary and historic works. Labeling was good on the various works. It is a small museum, but worth the visit when in the area.

A friendly, welcoming museum with an excellent mix of art and history. I was warmly greeted by the man at the front desk and had the pleasure of meeting the curator, Clarenda Begay, who invited me to observe a weaving class that was underway. I...More

This is a very impressive museum with multiple galleries, a beautiful central atrium and excellent displays. I would love to see them evolve some of their exhibits with a little more background for those of us who visit and aren't 'in the know' already. For...More
