We visited Planes of Fame while driving back from the Grand Canyon. The admission cost was reasonable for what we got to see. There were planes which I had not seen before. I really enjoyed the display cases spread throughout the building. My wife got...More

Another traveler told us about this museum. It was conveniently located on the drive to the Grand Canyon National Park. The entrance fee was $10 per person and the staff even offered free coffee. The variety of the planes was fantastic. I was especially impressed...More

We drove from Flagstaff only to find out that it is closed October to March. All sites showed it was "open now". None of their ads showed seasonal.

This is a nice stop if you are heading to or from the Grand Canyon. It is about 33 miles north of Williams and the cost was nominal at around $7. Lots of patches for sale and several one of a kind aircraft.

Not so many planes, but numerous detailed displays lovingly filled with all aspects of flying. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Throughly enjoyed the museum and the people there. As retired USAF I found the planes a trip back in time! In addition, they had planes and cars from the WW2 era including British, Russian, Japanese and German planes and artifacts. A GREAT stop!
