Located on a section of old Route 66, the Deer Farm is 10 acres of absolute animal wonderland. Walk a path around our park to view wallabies, llamas, mini cattle, bison, peacocks, & much more. Walk with deer, feed the deer right from your hands. Chat with a parrot, Mozart is a very entertaining cockatoo, Scarlet (a lilac crowned Amazon Parrot) a bit more shy, pet a goat, kiss a camel. You will have a blast here if you are an animal lover.

It was freezing, snowing and we were thrilled to visit this place! After feeding the animals we made our way back to the gift shop where we were greeter by Pat. Obviously Pat loves her animals! She took out her cell phone and showed us pictures of the baby wallaby. Wow! Amazing! She talked with us about the care of... More

The Deer Farm is a great place to take your kids or grandkids. As you walk through the Farm, the animals are roaming the grounds with you. Be sure to buy the feed cup. It is worth it. My great grandson loved the deer coming up to him and licking the food from his hand

We thought this wold be fun but it was not such a good trip. I have a son who is very tall for his age (5 but looks to be 7). As we walked in he was just almost mowed over by the animals they are so use to be being fed that they all swarm you. He felt trapped... More

We spent a little time here with a 4 year old to see/feed the deer. It was very muddy, but there is a paved path to follow around. They did ask us to stick to the path. There are several kinds of animals here, camel, alpaca, elk, donkey, horses, etc ... it's only the deer that are "free roaming" though.... More

Been going here for 10+ years every time we travel, but the prices keep going up and up. Love the gift shop, kids love the animals, and love the experience of feeding the deer. If you have never done this - it is unique, fun and worth at least 1 trip. Kids will always remember it.

So happy that you enjoy our farm. The farm has been in operation for over 47 years now. On the increases in the rates you mentioned, over the 10 years you have been visiting, I hope you've noticed the additions in animals, and updated shelters, etc... All of these improvements cost money, plus the cost of feed, employees, etc is... More

We've visited the The Grand Canyon Deep Farm every winter for the past few years. Such fun for all ages. Just don't wear your nice clothes the Deer like to rub their dirty muzzles all over you. We are big fans. We'll be back next year.

Fun stop! Loved the deer and other animals. Wonderful and helpful staff. Watch out as the deer are sneaky and might nip at your clothes. Overall fun and worth the 10 bucks to get in.

It's a short 20 minute drive west of Flagstaff to the Deer Farm. They are very busy in the summer, so we elected to go this fall. There are lots of different animals to see and several to pet. Buy some of the deer feed inside the gift shop when you arrive and you can feed the deer as you... More

We love animals and go out of our way to visit special places like the GCDF. We are happy to support mom & pop places too. I thought it would be a leisurely deer feeding, and did not expect a deer mugging (in a good way!), so watch for small children. The deer will surround you and some try to... More
