Very friendly staff at the depot. Very knowledgeable about your tickets. Everything was explained to us about their system of doing things. Great experience. Was our anniversary - all signed a card and made sure we received it on the train!

An overpriced gift shop and snack bar. Train platform is an interesting place to watch the train depart and arrive each day.

We usually don't buy things in these souvenir tourist trap stores but in this one we did. Also the pre-train show was funny and enjoyable especially for kids.

Well worth a visit to the Depot and good photo opportunities but I think the actual train ride to the Grand Canyon is a bit overpriced

The suitcases that you're taking to the canyon need to be dropped off in the Railway Hotel lobby in the morning. They'll take them all the way to your room at the canyon. Extra luggage will have to stay in your car. You... More
