This is a really cool old gold mine. Lots of history here with artifacts from the old days. Well worth the $10.00 admission fee.

We went to the Vulture Gold mine expecting more than we should have. The tour was self guided. You pay $10 Monday through Friday for the walking tour of the facilities. On the weekend there is a guided tour for $15. You receive a map...More

Very interesting and the guide knew what she was talking about. She was very knowledgeable in history, mining and gold recovery. It was a good tour and we would recommend it to even the seasoned geologist.

Fun and informative trip. It was like stepping back in time to see the old buildings and mining equipment. It is worth the short drive there.

A good place to visit to learn about the old west and gold mining. Call to make sure that the tour is running that day. Tour stops during the summer time for the hot weather.

Our group of sol and single travelers really enjoyed the informative and unique commentary by a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide. Both young and old should not miss this tour. Easy walking but sun protection is a must.

Seriously, it is only open on Saturday's at 9:30 am and the gates close again at 10:00 am. It would be nice if it is an "attraction" to be open more. Wasted time & effort.

I'll admit to being fascinated by ghosts (and, I suspect, the Special Effects techs) on TV shows. I have had some experiences that I can't explain and don't really want to. But as I toured this ghost town on the way to the long closed...More

You can only tour this place at 9am on Sat. We did not get into town until mid afternoon so no tour for us. Easy to find and looked cool from outside looking in.
