The place to stop in to prior to viewing the canyon. The center is the location of the shuttle stop for the Kaibab/Rim route, the Village route, and the Tusayan route. Visitors can find drinking water, restrooms, and picnic tables. An informative canyon video runs on regular intervals.

Get all the info and learn some facts about the Grand Canyon and nature. Rangers are there and displays are great.

You could spend a few hours in this place alone, if you had the time. Lots to see. We were with a tour group, so didn't have enough time.

The rangers were very helpful. They provided maps for the trails and explained the free shuttles. The free movie is great and shows the beauty of the canyon and Colorado river. The one thing that should be emphasized more is how dangerous the canyon is. It made me crazy seeing people climbing all around the edges of the rim. Apparently... More

This is a great place to stop and learn a little about the Canyon. We stayed here for a fair amount of time as the heavens had opened. The staff in here are always on hand to explain things and seem enthusiastic in what they are saying.

Loved the park. I did not see one scrap of litter in miles and miles of walking. The bus service around the park is great. You can walk one way on the rim and the get the bus back you you car.
