My wife and I visited the sanctuary while staying at the Villas and really enjoyed the tour. It's very impressive to see what they do for the injured wildlife in the area.

This is a pretty small place so if you're looking for a zoo experience you won't get it here. However they are very dedicated to their mission of helping wildlife and educating people. Got to see a good variety of local animals here.

The staff and management are top notch. They are knowledgeable and enjoy showing folks around the facility. The enclosure is clean as a pin and is fun to visit. It will warm your heart..

No touching by the public. They try and keep handling to a minimum since the aim is to reintroduce back into the wild where possible.

The upsetting feelings you will get will NOT be due to the enclosures size, but at the humans that thought they could have these animals as pets, the reason most of them are there. This is not a zoo, the efforts the... More
