Had to wait outside awhile for a table and after we got called in to be seated the host informed us that she was leaving for the night to just go and sit a table once it opened up. After we got out dirty table we had to wait ten minutes to get it cleared and to have it cleaned.. When we ordered drinks I asked the waitress if they had any good IPA beers and she said yes we have one.. She provided me with possibly the nastiest beer I have ever had. That got returned and I was not charged thankfully. Long story short she had no clue what an IPA beer even was.. When our food arrive I was less than impressed especially for the price tag that was attached to each dish.. $8.99 for a hotdog? Plus we had to wait 45 min to get our food. The only thing giving place a 2 star review instead of 1 is that the Ruben I had was amazing.

Clean house and hire new employees. Current employees are rude and obnoxious and couldn't care less about customers. We had an extended family of 12 with us. We put our name in for a table and they gave us a wait time. My wife returned with our grandson (age 1.5 years) around the time we were told. They told her they didn't know how long until we were seated. She asked for a manager and they said there wasn't a manager on duty. Some rude employee with gauges in his ears told her they couldn't seat us, not even at separate tables and we had to leave. We were all starved and our grandson was crying. On top of that this place was third rate at best. I would never recommend going to eat there. Rude staff and entirely overrated.

We were really looking forward to the fun at our favorite Tombstone saloon on New Years Eve. Unfortunately, my partner got the flu and couldn't/shouldn't go. The completely booked event has a waiting list. We were surprised when we called two days ahead to cancel and were told that they were not going to refund us. This didn't seem like a good customer relations policy.

Arrived to Big Nose Kate’s Saloon for dinner with friends. “Mick” and his band were warming up to play for the evening. Our server was great! Thank you Toshua.!!! You are the best server!!
Food was really good. The band was obnoxiously loud. Don’t get me wrong, “Mick” and his band could sing and play great music!! We asked our server to ask the band to lower the volume just a little. They ignored her request. Then “Mick” commented “if the music is too loud you’re too old.” Sorry Big Nose Kate’s Saloon, we won’t be returning especially when “Mick” and his band are playing. Management, you need to correct this!

The saloon is a fun and historic saloon in Tombstone and worth the visit. The waiters dress in period outfits. Unfortunately, the food is just So-So. Service started out good, but went down hill. It took us close to 30 mins. get our check once we were finished.

We ate dinner here on our first night in Tombstone. The inside was decorated nicely, the food was good, I had the Cowboy Steak sandwich. There wasn't a live band at the time we were there. Definitely worth a visit. Great service.

I took my family and some friends to Tombstone. We went to eat at Big Nose Kate's. I will tell you it was the worst. I encountered a short guy with a badge that had to be one of the rudest guys I have ever had dealings with. I had 8 kids with me ages 4-15. Most of the kids had water bottles with them since its July. After we got inside I went to the restroom and washed my hands. When I came out the short guy was having words with my son 12 years old and my 7 year old daughter who is autistic. I asked was there a problem and the short guy with the badge told me it was against the law for my kids to bring water bottles in to his establishment. My wife told me she had already told the kids to put away the bottles. I am a retired police officer so asked about the particular law he was referring to to. The guy stated it was against Arizona law to bring in water from outside and that he could loose his license to serve food if he allowed it. It got funny after that. he short fella wanted to stare me down. I think he must have thought he was Wyatt Earp with the little tin badge he had. I pointed out to him that he had lost 10 customers. His reply was he would rather loose customers than his license. I was told by several other town locals that this is a fairly routine practice out of this establishment. I would stay away from the short guy with the pretend badge and maybe if they loose some business they will learn to appreciate customers who drive across the world to visit a historic place.

Big Nose Kate's was very historic and I enjoyed looking at everything inside. It may be an ok place for drinks, just don't eat here. Because the bat wing doors are always open and there no is "air curtain" to keep bugs from coming in the flies were disgustingly thick on us, our food and all the tables. Before we really noticed this we ordered a pizza but there were so many flies on our pizza and on the table we just left the pizza without eating it. (think about it, the flies were sitting on the "horse patties" out front and then coming in and sitting on your food!) We didn't figure the kitchen could have been very clean either - the bathrooms weren't.

As far as we were concerned, it was too authentic! There's been less flies at outdoor picnics I've been too.

NO I'm not really prissy - this just bothered me.

While visiting Tombstone recently I took some friends to Big Nose Kate's for lunch. We had spent the previous day & night in Bisbee, where we went on a ghost tour, ate at some great restaurants, shopped the local stores, and stayed at a very cool bed & breakfast. I wanted to show my group Tombstone, and as it was only a short distance away, decided to take them to Big Nose Kate's for lunch. I really thought they would enjoy eating there and shopping at the gift shop. BIG MISTAKE! I have never been treated so rudely as we were by the owner/manager of Big Nose Kate's. He is an old man that dresses like a cowboy and walks around in the restaurant, never even cracking a smile, and only interested in filling up every possible seat in the place. There were 7 of us in our group and the waitress had directed us to a large table. After we had been seated, the old cowboy came over and told us that we would have to move and proceded to seat another group there, of which were more than likely friends of his. If he had even smiled and been a little courteous perhaps we wouldn't have been made to feel so unwelcome. Perhaps I might have just chalked this up to the old guy just having a bad day or something had this not happened to me a few months ago. My friend & I had gone into Big Nose Kate's for lunch and been seated by a waitress. The same old guy, with the same sour expression on his face, and the same cowboy outfit, actually came over and made us leave our table, which was set for 3 people, and seated us with another group of people, at their table, because there were 2 empty seats there! Never in my life had I ever experienced anything like that, and I'm sure the folks we were seated with hadn't either. We all kind of just sat there and looked at each other in disbelief! However, as it was very crouded, we went ahead and stayed and had our lunch. I sure felt sorry for the poor employees of this hateful man. I will NEVER again take any friends or out of state visitors to this place, and will probably skip going to Tombstone altogether. We will be spending our time and money in Bisbee, where at least they know how to treat visitors. It is unfortunate that the other businesses in Tombstone will suffer the loss of revenue because of this one rude businessman. Perhaps when this business starts to lose customers and is no longer a bustling tourist attraction, this old cowboy will find a position to which he is more suited, such as the bad guy that gets shot up in the dailey gunfights, put on for the tourists.

Busy saloon in the heart of Allen Street. We visited at lunchtime and enjoyed the live music and lively atmosphere. However, the food was poor quality and the authenticity was spoilt by the sight of tourists being dressed up as gunfighters to pose for pictures. Also perhaps a bit too much flesh on display from the waitresses!
