I have booked this activity in advance for my sister and I when we were going to Bali in May 2020 but due to being unable to travel I had to cancel everything. I have been trying to get my refund for over 2 months with the company making up excuses or completely ignoring me. I was very patient but told them that if they were going to be so rude to their customers and ignore them, I was going to take legal action. I still have heard nothing but I have now taken legal action.

We closed in 2018 due to village mafia & government corruption. Sounds like the locals are stealing peoples money still. Sadly they will use our past business as theirs.

Due to our knowledge of white tip reef sharks it’s more then apparent that these men are stealing fully grown sharks from the ocean to profit from uneducated tourists by claiming they are rescuing baby sharks that would of been eaten. However we are aware that white tip reef sharks live in reefs where there is no predictor big enough to eat them. When questioned about this are guide pretended not to speak English though he had been fluent throughout the day. He told us he had rescued them from the fisherman and that he would release them when they got to over 1meter or a year old. Clearly most of the sharks where over a year old and bigger then a meter, as a new born reef shark is born at 52-60cm and only grows 16 cm a year. Sexual maturity is reached at 1.1 meter at an average age 9years. Absolute disgrace this man is complete fraud will be emailing trip adviser to complain. we received no lunch. They wouldn’t let us off the shack that they had made out of timber and old barrels until we made a vidio saying we enjoyed it. BLACKMAIL at its finest. We was supposed to be taken to turtle sanctuary which took an hour of arguing before he finally took us which was included in the price. We had to pay when we got there . On his Facebook wall he has lot of people saying how great it was who look as uncomfortable as us. Wonder why.

At around $400 AUD for 3 people including lunch and transfers it was well worth it. We swam with baby white and black tip reef sharks and fed them and held and received information about baby turtles. Our guides were funny and very knowledgeable, also good for those who don’t want an all day trip as this only took half a day.

We were picked up from our hotel at 9am, we were back again by 11.40. We swam with the sharks for 45 minutes the rest was sat waiting for our lunch ( tunaless sandwich )
and the taxi home, asked about seeing the turtles and they looked at me like it wasn't a thing.... it's on the website!
Thought I'd learn a lot today but no one could speak English and the knowledge wasn't there at all,,, shame shame, would not recommend

What an incredible experience at Bali Sharks!
The staff was smiling, patient, and so helpful.
We were able to feed and swim with the sharks, it was amazing !!
Then we went to see the Turtle Rescue Center, where people are just as passionate.
The turtles were adorable, lots of baby turtles ^^
Thank you all for this unforgettable experience !

Was a bit hesitant to do this but thought why not as they money goes towards a good cause of rescuing the sharks. I was the only one there which was fine but didn't feel like I got the real experience. The boss was away so didn't learn too much about the sharks. At the end i asked when I was going to the turtle place and the lady said we don't do it this time of year. No very fair as I had paid the same price and the website says it is included. Overall a good experience to swim with the sharks

Hi Alyse-
Thanks for the visit and glad you had a good experience swimming with the sharks.
Bali is a very difficult place to operate from and the Turtle Center is a completely separate entity. They don't seem to be that conservation oriented at the moment & if guest see turtles mistreated its a reflection of the Shark Center exposing us to more negativity. Once we are able to update the site we will no longer mention turtles.
Our focus will and always be the sharks. To that effect we have saved over 240 sharks not to mention numerous other animals such as dolphins and turtles.
We did make an acceptation in sending a driver even though its a minimum of 2 persons to make economic sense. The reason for this is to not deny anyone the chance to experience swimming with the sharks.
Although we can't be there year round we do try to put educational & interesting clips on social media as much as possible.
Thanks for the feedback.

My son LOVES sharks. Our guides, 2 marine biology students were awesome. They went above and beyond to ensure my son got the most out of his day. It was a great experience for him, and he will have so many wonderful memories for years to come. All of the staff were great. I love the work they do in protecting sharks. A must see!

We came here on the last morning of our trip - a last minute booking. Our driver found the place about half an hour from Kuta and we were soon on the boat out to the shark nursery. The team rescue sharks and help them grow until they are large enough to be released into the wild. We first fed them fish, then got into the netted tanks to snorkel with the smaller white and black tipped reef sharks. A unique experience, not cheap, but the money goes to help the project, and because of this, it's not really advertised for the mass market. The staff were unique an d full of character too, obviously caring about their work. An excellent end to our holiday.

Thanks for the inquiry. It is safe for her and we have life vest available for those that are uncomfortable in the water. You can even stand = )
Can a toddler of almost 4yrs do this? Does the child have to be able to swim? What are the safety precautions taken? Any guides accompanying the participant whether adult or child? What is the duration allowed?
