There is a wealth of things to do on Mill. Bars, fun clothing shops, Five Guys, the first Harkins Theater. The Light Rail has a stop at the end of Mill, so you can bypass the parking price and the trick of locating one.

There are lots of burger, pizza, beer, and coffee places in this area, as well as shopping. I like Rehab burger (they can and do cook it medium rare--not all places can), while my husband likes Pedal Haus, and our daughter likes the boutiques.

Wow! Mill Avenue has really grown up! Where it historically catered to college students, it now is inviting to all walks of life. Cool shops and excellent food!

Downtown Tempe and Mill Avenue was once a great place to go for dining, partying, celebrating Sun Devil football or to just hangout. The movies were convenient downtown also. Mill Avenue District and downtown Tempe is not family friendly today. Lots of homeless people begging...More
