There are paths close to the water to walk, or a path higher that has a lot of bikes, scooters and hoverboards. Peaceful walk that’s probably a mile and a half long. Saw a marina and volleyball courts, and lots of docks to secure boats...More

My daughter and I did our 5K down here and it was such a beautiful place to walk. The lake was beautiful and it was a very easy walk.

We biked here and had a good time. The paved trail is great. Fun to watch the birds on the water. Boat rentals are available. Very relaxing!

It is strange to find a lake in the desert but Tempe has pulled it off. It is a nice park for a stroll. You can rent scooters and boats. There are a lot of dead fish in the lake and 10 of 12 restrooms...More

man made lake in the normally dry salt river bed,it is used by the A.S.U. rowing clubs and others.looks neat

It is fun to watch the birds and the boaters on the lake. It is a great place to jog or just to walk. Very nicely done and accommodating.

Beautiful lake and park at the north end of the Mill Ave. District. Excellent for walking and bike riding. Also boat rentals available.

We parked there for hours while we were boating. No one was ever towed. Check with City of Tempe to confirm.

Hi Iaurie, The closest one is Best Western Inn of Tempe on 670 N Scottsdale Road, Tempe. I am sure you can find more hotels in surrounding area on search engines. Noro

I wouldn’t want to swim in that water. It’s stinky. Besides, there’s boats going around. Don’t want to be hit by one.
