The Teec Nos Pos area is known for good weaving and you will find plenty to choose from in the rug room here. Teec Nos Pos sits at the northern end of the Chuska nountains and this area is full of history and is very significant to the Dine'. Not far south are the sources of much of the finest... More

You can find traditionally made goods--yarn for weaving, baskets, rugs, jewelry--alongside any necessary needs for the road. Definitely a modern trading post.

Pasted this on our way from Page AZ to Mesa Verde CO. A good pit stop for grub, very clean outdoor restrooms and the people inside are very warm and gracious. Some of the merchandise, artifacts, rugs, sculptures look as if they belong in a museum and you will find an item or two reasonably priced should you take the... More

Pre-pay for your gas. And be prepared for it to take 10 minutes to fill up your tank! That way you can hit the restrooms and shop before it is done!

The Teec Nos Pos Trading Post was at one time owned by Russell Foutz, one of the premier Indian traders of his generation. His enterprises have since been divided, but the quality remains, especially in the rugs. The post is a local shopping center for the Navajo, and it sells groceries and sundries as well as the usual collectibles, so... More

This is the place people go to use the bathroom or to hit up the ATM because Four Corners Monument takes only cash. It is six miles back from Four Corners, one way, and easy to find. I felt a little bad using the place for the bathroom and ATM, but it seems they're used to it. The store itself... More

We stopped here on our way to 4 cornersno was expecting it to have more things like a gift shop but it really is a locals spot where they buy small grocery items and herbal medicine. The did have an area to purchase small rugs and pillows and cute native earrings.
