Route 66 Fun

We took two teenaged boys camping near by and came into town for couple of hours. They loved looking at the old cars and memorabilia in the stores. Nice friendly staff members.

very nice historical place in the old and original route 66. It was the best decision to stop there on my way grom Grand Canyon to Vegas :)

This is a great little place on Route 66 to visit with some favourites from the Cars movie and a cool gift shop with 66 merchandise.

When researching Route between Selgiman and Kingman I came across some historic information on an old station at Oica Crossing. The images showed and the old, now abandoned Pica Station Water stop for Steam trains that had a massive water pump. As we hurtled down the old highway we saw what looked the old station but it looked to small... More

My grandson loves the movie Cars. He loved the pictures grandpa sent him of Tow Mater and the rest of the crew. Its a nice little piece of the past. So, if you just left or a going to Vegas from here, slow your roll and take a look.

How these places stay open? We came in a coach of 50 desperate people escaping from LA. Eager for t-shirts and fridge magnets, photo opportunities and to stretch our legs. So here is more of the same, old thing, decorated cars, something to see.

Seligman was our destination while visiting Vegas. We wanted to get out of the 110 degree heat for a bit so ended up taking a road trip. Unfortunately when we arrived this establishment was closed but there were still plenty of opportunities for photos. Definitely a fun area to see retro cars, stores, and various stuff!

This is certainly the typical tourist trap but the people are so friendly and outgoing it makes it fun. The old tow truck out front was decorated like it was part of the CARS movie. Walking the whole street was a step back in time.
