    Avoid the ATV portion
This is a great trail except for the beginning (or end, depending on which direction you're going), which is a road for ATVs and tours. If you stick with it, though, you're rewarded with a gorgeous view at the top. We came down by Seven Sacred Pools and Devil's Kitchen. Lots of folks on the trail (t was spring break). Portions of this trail are moderate, with a few boulder scrambles here and there. Check out AllTrails for more technical info.

    Beautiful Hike
This was a really great relaxing trail! We took the first shuttle here since the lot was indeed closed and there were only a few other people with us. The trail was peaceful first thing in the morning and allowed us to take photos with no one else around so we didn't have to share spaces. We did take the little detour to the cave which was a little tricky for me but I couldn't be happier I got up in that cave. The area is just so beautiful make sure you stop and take it in every once in a while instead of rushing through trails!

    Soldier’s Pass
A nice hike, some pretty views, not too challenging (lots of ups and downs, but not overly rocky). BEWARE- if you take a shuttle, they are few and far between. We realized too late and when we climbed down to meet the shuttle, realized it was not coming for another 45 minutes. Decided to hike back to the lot, which was an additional mile.

We tried 5 times to get a parking place and never did get to do the hike thanks to a lot of people seeming to hang around rather than driving onto their next destination.

We were told this was a 5 mile loop trail with caves. First, consult your map very carefully. To complete the loop, you need to hike some trails not marked as Soldier Pass. Also, the trail to the caves is not posted, but is seemingly blocked by limbs intentionally. So, before starting, download a quality hiking map that indicates your intended route. Views are nice and the trail well traveled (just not marked very well). Trailhead has a small parking area. We took a free shuttle to/from our hotel.

We were excited, and looking forward to our first off road Jeep tour. However, the tour did not meet our expectations for the money I paid. It was supposed to be a 2 hour tour, but only lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes. While our tour guide was funny and seemed knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited, he seemed very “business oriented”, and not very friendly and sociable. I would not choose this experience again.

This was my favorite hike! Brins mesa then down the loop to the sacred pools. We loved it. Great maintained trail. Nicely marked. The pink jeeps crowd the pools but other than that it’s great.

My brother and I had a wonderful hike here. It was a cloudy day, and we loved it!

We were dropped off, because no parking spots were available when we arrived.

Take your time and soak in this awesome part of the country!

I am very glad we went the way we did. We started from Jordan’s to Soldiers and then Brin. Great hike. Sedona had gotten a lot of rain so it was a little muddy but the views were incredible. Highly suggest.

This hike has a few options so you can "choose your own adventure" in a way. We started from the Soldier Pass Trailhead, but there are other Trailheads you can start at if you want to add miles to the hike. Depending on the day of the week, you will likely need to use the shuttle to get there, though it is only a mile from the shuttle parking lot to the TH, so you can also walk there or back (we walked back). Plenty of tourist photos ops (Devil's Kitchen, Seven Sacred Pools, and Solider Pass Cave). The first two are quick and easy to get to, which the other is a little more tricky, but still very accessible. We walked nearly the whole Soldier Pass Trail and turned around, but you can continue on to other trails and make a full loop if you have the time and energy.
