This is where you see views of Cathedral rock reflected in the water, and you can wade in the water. The park has an easy little hike, if you call it that, around the creek and some picnic areas. Seems nice for families to spend...More

It was too hot to do our planned hike so we came here for a swim instead. Not just for the little kids - my adult children rated it their favourite activity in Sedona. Tranquil and beautiful setting with stunning views of Cathedral rock. We...More

I heard that people from Phoenix visit Sedona because it's cooler... we'll, even cool Sedona was 110 degrees during our visit so we had to find some swimming hole to take a break from the heat. The popular sit is sliding rock but it was...More

We saw the crowds at Slide Rock and chose this spot instead. It was less crowded and equally as relaxing. We hiked upstream and found a spot with very few people around and were able to cool off in the stream which was quite refreshing...More

My family went to visit this site in mid-June. We went in the late afternoon to get the best light for pictures of Cathedral Rock. It was easy to find parking late in the afternoon. The parking lot by mid-morning is usually full to you...More

We stopped here to eat lunch and cool off. Gorgeous view of red rocks and short walk to oak creek to take a swim. Easy to walk in the creek or take a dip in natural swimming pool.

My family of 5 (14,12,12) visited here. We only knew about this location because the check in staff at the Best Western mentioned it. It is a little tricky to find. Mostly locals come here to cool off in the creek. We came prepared with...More

Parking is rather ample as we usually arrive around mid-morning or noon and most of our trips have been in September when crowds and temperatures subside.

It's $10 to get in and park. The Red Rocks pass, which works for the other parking lots adjacent to scenic places in Sedona, doesn't work there, because management of that park is subbed out to a private company. But it's... More
