All views in Sedona are wonderful. This one is not the best but it's so easy to get to and park you may as well. The best views are in Oak Creek driving in..or out...of Sedona...and in particular driving in on 89a from the west...More

The airport overlooks the city and the view is just amazing. They have the telescopes that you can look through to see things far away.

A wonderful view to see the sunset over Sedona. WE saw the solar eclipse ther with about 100 people and it was pretty cool

Have been to Sedona twice and find the Airport Mesa crowded at sunset and not sure it is worth the crowd or the wait (you have to often get there early to park in the lot). Every sunset is not breathtaking. Seems like there should...More

walk the airport mesa trail and end up at the parking lot, grab a snack and watch the sunset.. you won't be dissapointed..

You can actually drive up and hike down ~ or park at the bottom and hike up. The Airport Mesa is actually a really good place to see the sunset, too. AND - the entire canyon is "sacred" and there are hundreds of trails in... More

If you are lucky enough to get a parking spot at the small lot near the Vortex, then it is 5-10 minutes maximum. However, that lot only holds 10-12 cars. At peak periods you are going to have to park farther up the mountain... More
