We made reservations and were seated right on time. We chose the shrimp and grits which were delicious and plentiful. Very reasonable priced for the location and quality. We thoroughly enjoyed this treat on our last night in beautiful Sedona!

The airport Mesa is close to town on 89A and basically the sedona airport is up there. The views are incredible and there is lodging and a restaurant as well. Go early for parking cause it’s a popular spot to watch the sunset. Also hiking...More

Parking right at the site of the overlook is $3.00 & while unnecessary it’s not a big issue considering the beauty... bring a chair if you plan to stay awhile... Specular views worth driving up Airport road.

I went to there to see Sun rise. There is many people doing Yoga and Meditation. That Hike trail was easier than other vortex. and City of center Easy to access.

Scenic drive up to mesa and then breathtaking view of Sedona and surrounding area. Even if limited on time, don't miss this scenic overlook.

THis is a great place to photograph Sedona. The view is amazing and covers the whole town with the red rocks in the background. The overlook can be found off Airport Road, but just before you get to the airport. Parking is very close by....More

This never gets old I do this every time I visit. It can be crowded but everyone gets a view. Very calming.

Locals warned me - this is a busy spot at sunset. It's a bit of climb, but easily accessible and there was probably 30 people there the evening I visited. So if you want a quiet sunset, this isn't the place. Thunder mountain trail/head was...More

This was our first stop on our trip to Sedona. Worth the $3. Quick little 1/2 mile walk to the vortex at the bottom. Don't forget to save your receipt and come back for the sunset.

Went here to watch sunset based on a locals recommendation and many online recommendations. Maybe we just didn’t hit a good night, but the sunset scenery was eh. Very very crowded. Would try somewhere more secluded next time

You can actually drive up and hike down ~ or park at the bottom and hike up. The Airport Mesa is actually a really good place to see the sunset, too. AND - the entire canyon is "sacred" and there are hundreds of trails in... More

The vortex parking lot is right by the vortex. You simply walk up a hill, about 100 ft high. Easy. The airport parking lot is about 1/4 mile up hill on the road from the vortex parking lot. There is a trail that leads down... More
