This is a very well organized tour of the night sky conducted by extremely knowledgeable amateur astronomers. We learned a good deal about stars and planets as well as constellations. Our tour guide, Wes, was skilful, entertaining, and humorous. The telescope he had was a 12 inch reflector, but since I had expected something more elaborate I was somewhat disappointed.... More

We had high expectation for this part of our vacation. The astronomer is very knowledgeable. But it is almost TOO MUCH INFO. To listen to someone speak about stars was info overload. Lots of interesting parts. Moon was at 1/2 and bright so we did not get the view of the stars that we were hoping for that night. They... More

Wasn't sure what to expect or if I'd get bored, but all in all it was a great time and money well spent. Trevor, our astronomer for the evening, was great. She pointed out so many things about the stars/planets/constellations etc. she had a great sense of humor which made the time go by pretty quickly. I definitely learned a... More

One of our favorite tours in Sedona. When we arrived we waited a little bit for all the other groups to show up. We were then escorted onto a football field where chairs were set up with blankets and you can see the telescope. At first when our astronomer started talking my husband and I was trying to figure out... More

If you are looking for a fabulous stargazing experience this is the right place! We enjoyed a delightful evening of conversation, education, and stargazing with Dave from Sedona Stargazers. When we arrived check in was easy and everything was set up. Chairs, heavy blankets, and parkas just in case it was really cold. Dave showed us many consolatios in addition... More

If you can catch the star party at the Red Rock Ranger Station, don't miss it! Really cool & amazing to look through the Astronomers' Club's telescopes. A great way to start our trip.

Living in the city you forget how many stars are in the sky. It looks like someone threw glitter in the air. Sedona is one of the few "dark sky" cities in the US.

Thank you Sedona Star Gazing for an incredible night. What an experience! The skies cooperated and we learned and saw so many beautiful and amazing things. We're still talking about it almost two weeks later. As a side note: we really appreciated the blankets and the parkas. We wound up utilizing both and were grateful for them. So thanks for... More

Amazing view, our astronomer guide Rick was fantastic and the sky tour was incredible! You will learn about constellations, science behind astronomy, and view distant space objects through a telescope. Our group saw over 6 shooting stats as well! You can't miss this while in Sedona, make a reservation and dress warm!
