Well worth the climb to the top, which is an interesting but safe scramble up the rocks along a well-marked trail. Very achievable for active families with small children. I would recommend setting off before 10am to avoid rthe crowds and the heat. There are...More

Seriously out of all the hikes in Sedona this is our favorite. It requires hiking up steep steep Flat Rock but there are a lot of other people around including kids so it's safe when you get to the top only after about an hour...More

It is well worth it to climb (or crawl) this rock. The views are beautiful. Also try Templeton Trail near by. Lots of beautiful plant life and great ground views of Cathedral Rock.

It is a short but steep hike with gorgeous views. We found sunset to be the perfect time to see the scenery and beat the intense sun. There is not much shade. The rocks can be slick. I recommend wearing hiking shoes!

Local lure claims there is an energy vortex at this site. Don’t know about that, but the views are dramatic. Great photo ops including a quiet stream ...perfect for capturing reflections of the rock in the stream. A must visit when in Sedona.

This is an easy walking trail and there is plenty of parking if you get there on the early side. It is highly recommended and easy to find.
