Beautiful stop on the way from Flagstaff to Sedona. Spent about 30 minutes walking around, taking pictures, and soaking it all in! Great views!

If your heading south you will be able to see the abyss your about to drop into or if your heading north you can reflect on what you just ascended. Easy to get in and out of and still free.

We did the canyon drive and as we climbed out on our way to Flagstaff you have the opportunity to look back on the road you came up, and it is worth the time to snap a lovely photo.

The route to get there is a bit torturous these days due to the construction / lane expansion. The views are nice and the shopping is, supposedly, authentic.

This is a beautiful canyon, water was running high in June when we visited. Very lush and cool- be sure to stop at the Indian Gardens cafe store- it's wonderful!
