Packed different stores & food places to stop. Enjoyed trade winds store with every sport team covered & variety of things to look at. Easy parking on streets for 3 hours.

Old Scottsdale is very quaint with local shops and restaurants. Well worth the trip into town. Easy to find and get to with parking available close to shops.

Lots of artsy and crafts shops. The quality of the shops vary from high end to touristy. Plenty of places to eat good food and drink whatever. Obviously, the local temperature will limit the amount of walking around.

To really understand the area, visit the Old Red Schoolhouse and/or take a walking tour (there are self guided tours or midday tours offered by locals - information available at Old Red Schoolhouse). The former downtown is now cute boutiques, restaurants, fun to wander and explore. Lots of dining options, drinks, sweets, souvenirs, and more. Some of my favorites? Bootleggers... More

On Sat. mornings most of the year there is a great farmer's market. There is a cute little schoolhouse that gives a history of the town and next to it is... More

Take the trolley tour first to see what is available. Shops and restaurants are everywhere. There were some shaded sidewalks.

A great place to visit with locals, dine, and shop. Try Cafe Monarch for a romantic dinner. The Sugar Bowl is a fun throwback diner style restaurant for food/desserts

During our vacation in Scottsdale, we visited the Old Town area several times. We went to the art galleries. This time we also went to the Museum of the West. We went to see the Old Adobe Mission. We also had Sunday Brunch and several dinners in this area. Its fun to see the golf carts at night serving as "taxi"... More

Friends told us about this place. Just a nice area. We went a a weekday in the afternoon. Walked around and looked at all the shops and art galleries. Also had lunch here. Just a nice relaxing place yo hand out.
