This area is worth a walk. Buildings are nicely layed out and there are wonderful sculptures - many western ones, but also Indiana's famous LOVE sculpture. The general landscape, garden, is lovely.

The stadium is small enough so you get to see the game from may angles and from all the seats (and the lawn too). I sat behind the visitors dugout and loved the seats, although they were so hot, I might have burned myself. Very little shade and no charcoal grilled hotdogs, just the roller dogs.

I like the Scottsdale Civic Center. It is beautiful with water. The City Hall had made a beautiful place to enjoy for everyone,

There were many fountains.

There were also beautiful flowers mixes with other flowers.

This is a must!

Wow!

The Civic Center Mall area used to be filled with fountains. Not so much anymore. After many years, the fountains needed almost constant repairs, so most were ripped out and replaced with landscaping. Still a nice place to take a walk or take part in many of the weekend activities hosted here.

Took a walk today in the Scottsdale Civic Center Park. They had to do a multi million dollar rehab. and it’s coming along nicely. Sadly, the old large water feature fountain area will be no more. There still is a separate water feature that is close to the City Hall and Library, That’s peaceful and nice. Because this work is still currently going on, the area will be disturbed for a few more months. Normally, free concerts bring people into this area as well as food and wine festivals There still is some nice bronze statues and art work to look at. The winter grass is going in soon and the place will look really nice soon, just in time for our winter visitors. Free parking close by. Bathrooms near by.

Stopped here on our way to Sedona so we could get a pic with the LOVE sign. It wasn't very crowded and we were able to get some fun shots!

This not worth even a ticket price with an additional discount from Groupon. This was sad, very sad. Not sure if this event was more of a bust because the Civic Center is presently under construction and you needed to get from one side of the park to the other through scaffolding but there were very few vendors and the vendors that were there were mostly selling alcohol. The food vendors were from mediocre restaurants at best and what they were serving was nothing to rave about and too expensive for what you got. This event was nothing like the way this festival was years ago where the BEST restaurants of Scottsdale/Phoenix participated and they served dishes that made you want to go to those restaurants after. Even the entertainment wasn't as good as it was in the past. We hadn't gone in several years mainly because of the huge crowds this event drew. My gave one star was for ease of getting food (because there was hardly no one there) otherwise if I could I would have given it zero stars.

Really nice park area. Great to get away from the crowds - lovely gardens & fountains, the Love art work. And places to eat & drink.
