My husband and I hiked here for about 90 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the experience. There was a guide available at the building just off the parking lot who was able to answer questions and provide maps. The building also houses water...More

I have just begun to explore the over 200 trails in this preserve. What a blessing that Scottsdale is not allowing any intrusion into this preserve. I hope the visitors from outside of the city appreciate that they can enjoy this awesome place for free....More

We took the lost dog wash to the ringtail trail and it was about 2.5 miles. It goes up for half then back down. Very easy but you need to have strong shoes or hiking boots as the cobble they use to fill trail is...More

We stopped for a quick hike. We had perfect weather, in the mid 60s. The views were nice. Many options were available for longer versus shorter hikes.

An incredible 15.5 mile loop - we went clockwise. There were some difficult rocky hills where we had to walk our bikes up, but that's ok. We know our limitations. Really fun downhill on the backside. A great workout.

We enjoyed walking in this area. We had previously done the Sunrise Peak, 136th spur and the Sunrise Trail. This time we just did a short loop consisting of the Desert Park Trail, Horseshoe Trail and 104th Street Trail, about 2 miles. Paths very rocky...More

This trail had a beautiful collection of cacti and beautiful rocks. We went in July and it was about 100 degrees outside. I would recommend doing this trail early morning or on a cooler day. It is tucked back in a very well kept neighborhood...More

No bikes for rent in the park. if renting one elsewhere, you should be an experienced trail rider. These trails are rocky and rough and steep in a few places.
