Excellent because of the Presidential Pullman Car

We are in our early 60's and heard that there was a pullman train car there that was used by four presidents; FDR being one of them. So being an FDR fan I had to go. Admission to the park is free, but it costs $2 per person to view the pullman car. Well worth the time. We spent time... More

This park is a treat! You will find a merry-go-round, a train that takes you on a little ride around the park, large model trains, small model trains, nice restrooms, and a picnic area. Definitely stop by if you are in the area and visit the small model train exhibit inside the park!

We don't live in Arizona, but we come to town once a year and we always visit the train park. We've been coming for years and even now (kids are 6 and 9) they still love it. We were recently in town and visited the park twice in the 5 days that we were visiting. My son loves the western... More

When you live in a 'Resort Town' like Scottsdale, there are very few free activities that enrich the lives of our children on a consistent go-to basis. McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is a blessing for residents and visitors alike. This City of Scottsdale park holds a free concert series February through Memorial Day. Concerts are on Saturday evenings. A full schedule... More

We have been bringing our 2 boys here for years. They keep things very clean and fresh looking. Fun events throughout the year. We especially love Christmas time.

Great family park, great for family gatherings, picnic, plenty for kids to do. Sunday night summer concerts are neat and fireworks on the fourth weekend.

They have 3 amazing toy train exhibits. There are little hand buttons you can push and it will make something in front of you move. Great for adults and kids. They also have a presidential train car that you can go through for a few dollars. It was worth it, hard to believe that you could cook in the little... More

Took our 4 year old on a weekend and was definitely his highlight of the trip. The miniature steam engine was excellent. The engineer was very nice to kids. He talked to them and showed them things like the real firebox and steam. The model train area was a hit and very well done. All I can say is go... More

For 12 years we visited this park with children and grandchildren. It provides a delightful time for every age.The train rides are really fun. There is a wonderful indoor exhibition building of model trains. There are two park areas, one with water fountains, slides and swings and the other with an adobe building for the kids to climb and imagine... More

This is a terrific place to visit with kids. Admission to the grounds is free, but the trains, museum on the train cars, and merry-go-round require a ticket. Book of 6 tickets was $10. the model train exhibit is free and is a MUST see - largest displays I have ever seen. Plenty of shade for just walking around.
