This is some version of "other worldly". It is a dreamscape. Most glimpse as they drive past at 75mph. At least pull out at the Texas Canyon road side rest area. The access is very easy. The closer you look the better it gets.

We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around at Council Rocks. The area is beautiful and there were just a few people out on the day we went. The roads are gravel/dirt, but it was a dry day so no problem for our 2-wheel drive pickup.

Off the beaten path this was an amazing place to visit. We spent several hours bouldering and exploring. My 4 kids (5-12) had no problem with terrain.
