As a photographer, this place is truly "eye-candy!" In fall the Cottonwoods are pure gold and the hikes are outstanding in flora and fauna. This place has enough for all tastes, even the kiddos. Hawks, Osprey, song birds, Coatamundi, bobcats, mule deer, trout in the...More

Great scenery, good fishing, and a nice quiet weekend! Not much for facilities but well worth it for those looking for an amazing place to camp, hike, and fish.

We went here primarily to see birds, but the scenery itself is also very nice, especially the high view of the box canyon.

Came out with my dogs and daughter, there was no one else around as we walked down the river. Great spot for a hike, but it was quite hot in July!

The only reason to go out with the family and friends to enjoy themselves in a area that is not far from home. The place is very good for a family outing.

This area was excellent for all kinds of birds. It was August so migration had begun and there were warblers moving through the area. We went to the Watchable Wildlife area within the conservation area. We noted many camping opportunities which we will take advantage...More

Beautiful scenery and an excellent chance to see wildlife. We spotted a Coati by the river. Bumpy drive out, but worth it.
