Don't trust GoogleMaps on the trails. Very inaccurate. Get a trail map. In Prescott the map costs a whole dollar.

This la tucked into the mountains above Prescott. Wonderful place for a family picnic and the best fishing in the Prescott area. I don't think reservations are required, but it is fairly heavily used during the Summer months.

Found this lake by accident; and thoroughly enjoyed walking along it's banks and wooded areas. Went there right at dusk, so was cool, and saw fisherman enjoying themselves as well.
